Online seminar: How can we engage with the vulnerable and disadvantaged within our church and wider community?

August 10 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

As Christians living in Wollongong, Australia, we know and even see people who are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Our compassionate God helps us to reflect his compassionate heart towards them. But, we also need to ask some tough questions:

  • How can we as a church engage with the vulnerable and disadvantaged?
  • What help can we offer them?

Recently, our very own Christine Metusela and others from the denomination have researched on “How the Presbyterian church is engaging with the vulnerable and disadvantaged within the local church and wider community.” And, in partnership with the Presbyterian social arm, Jericho Road, they are offering an online seminar to walk us through the reality and the practical questions as we engage ourselves with the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
