What to Expect
If you are not familiar with church, our gatherings are relaxed and you will always receive a warm welcome.
We are a friendly, diverse community of different ages, nations and backgrounds.
Each Sunday we sing some songs, hear a talk from part of the Bible, and spend some time praying. You can dress how you feel comfortable, sit where you like and you won’t be asked to say or do anything that you’re not comfortable with.
Whether this is your first time at church or you’ve been many times before, you are welcome at City Central!
Getting to City Central
City Central Presbyterian is located in the heart of Wollongong, on the corner of Kembla and Burelli Streets.
We have a carpark onsite or you can find parking across the road in the Woolworths carpark or in surrounding streets. Our church is also easily accessible by public transport.
Enter via the Kembla Street entrance where our friendly welcomers will greet you.
Stay around for morning tea
After church we invite you to stick around for morning tea! We enjoy chatting with one another over a cuppa and some food, and we always love to meet new people and make them feel welcome.
Kids & Youth
Kids' Church
At City Central Presbyterian we love kids! Each Sunday during school term we have Kids’ Church for kids in K – Year 6, which runs at the same time as our 9:45am service.
Our team provides a safe, fun and loving environment for kids to learn about Jesus and and grow in their knowledge of God’s word.
Our program includes engaging Bible talks, craft, games and much more! We would love your kids to join us!
City Youth
We have a youth group that meets to learn more about God through his word the Bible and we invite any young person to join with us. Contact us for details!
