We are a group of ordinary people who want to worship an extraordinary God. It is our goal; to know Christ, to be like Christ and to make Christ known. That is what shapes everything we do as a church community.
We want to welcome all who want to grow in their love and understanding of God, and those who just want to find out more.
What we believe...
We believe in the one true God, who reveals himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and we desire to worship him in earnest praise, obedient love, expectant hope and dependent prayer. We believe the Bible is the place we get to know God through Jesus his Son. So, we place biblical teaching in all its facets, as the authoritative centre of our church life.
We value sharing God's love with everyone
Just as God welcomes us into His family, we strive to be a church that welcomes everyone, whatever age, stage, or background. Whether you already know Jesus or want to learn more, we seek to be a church where you can belong, ask real questions and take time to consider what it means to follow Jesus.
We value the gospel of grace transforming the church and the world
We delight in God’s grace bringing us into His kingdom and continuing to motivate and transform us. We long to see everyone in our church family equipped as Spirit-filled, gospel-hearted people who live for Jesus and serve him faithfully. We pray that God’s grace will transform lives in the church and the world.
We want to love the City of Wollongong
We believe that God has brought us into the centre of this great city. There are many in this city who do not know Jesus. We want to prayerfully consider strategies to lovingly connect with these people the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge we cannot reach the city alone and value working in partnership with other churches and gospel-focused organisations.
